Hello! Welcome to the site!
Our mission is simple: To bring communities together by growing our own food and educating people about health, nutrition, and where real food comes from!
Most of us are beginers...and you know, that's okay! Everyone has to start somewhere. There will always be amazing people who have the knowledge that love to share their passions.
We are a newly formed group,offically an organization, and in process of becoming a non-profit..

Our First Garden!
Our inital site will be at the Community Garden on Maryland Avenue, in Cumberland.
This was a site formally taken care of by another garden club, then taken care of by the City of Cumberland. We were offered to take stewardship by the club who previously had taken care of the garden.
On the site now are fruit trees and a variety of flowers. So far, we have taken out the old railroad ties, and we are re-arranging the flower beds to accomadate more produce. We are starting our seeds indoors and starting to plant ass soon as we get our raised beds in place.
